INDIA
Senior Geotechnical Engineer, contracting to and on behalf of Binnie & Partners. Based in Bombay, India for the Bombay 11 Sewerage Scheme, directing offshore investigations for piled, buried pipe trench and rock tunnel options including rotary coring, hydrographic and geophysical surveys, CPT and PMT testing and laboratory testing of soils and rocks in India and UK. Investigations included recent marine and colluvial soils and variably volcanic rocks (Basalt and Tuff) and intrusive rocks.
UK
Fawley B Power Station. Engineers Representative for the marine hydrographic and geophysical surveys for marine loading jetty and water intake structures. For the CEGB.
UK
Fawley B Power Station. Engineers Representative for the offshore site investigation, which included rotary coring pressuremeter and CPT offshore testing surveys, laboratory testing and reporting. For the Central Electricity Generating Board. In recent marine deposits and over-consolidated sands and clay.
BELGIUM
Supervising Engineer Zeebrugge Pipe Landfall Investigations, for Statoil Norway - France Pipeline. Ground conditions included soft marine clays, variable sand and clay deposits and older, over-consolidated deposits.
